  • Can your DJ MC our event? Can you provide a microphone? Yes, we carry a minimum of 5 wireless microphones to every performance and 3 wired microphones with stands to every show at no additional costs..

  • What are your standard payment terms? We required a 33% deposit at the time of contract signing, full performance fee is due by the close of the event. We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash..

  • What is your customer satisfication cancellation policy? We will strive to fulfill all customer requests in the event the customer feels as if they are not satisfied, we will make mutually agreeable determination of what action, if any; would be most appropriate..

  • What is your event cancellation policy? All deposits are nonrefundable if cancelled within 30 days of the engagement unless Virtual DJ Entertainment cancels the engagement..

  • What type of equipment do you use? What special feature (lighting, etc) can you provide? We use only the best equipment for sound and lighting. We use high-powered professional amplifiers and the best sounding speakers on the market, which guarantees you the best quality sound possible for your event. Our dynamic light show is one of the best in the Dayton Ohio area. We use an array of lighting effects, including many of the lighting effects that other DJ services use, plus the latest intelligent lighting effects usually only seen in night clubs. Our awesome Laser Light Show, will amaze everyone at your event. Once you see it, you will definitely want it. Everyone always does !! In addition, we offer at an additional cost; a custom monogram or logo projection system and video projection; as well as; video production..

  • We want to meet and talk to the DJ that will be at our wedding reception, is that a problem? We encourage meetingbefore an event, I have all of my equipment setup and recommend clients "see" what can be offered before signing a contract. .

  • How early do you typically arrive before an event? At least on hour and preferably two hours before the event to etup, test and retest..

Lirtual DJ Entertainment has two DJ's on staff and we have established agreements with two other DJ companies in the local area for emergencies..

  • Can guests make song requests? How many (and what types) of CDs will the DJ bring to the event? Yes, we highly encourage requests...there are no limit to the number of requests that can be made however, we reserve the right to only honor those requests we believe would be appropriate and within the scope of the event being DJed. In addition, it ultimately up to the client if and what types of requests shall be honored..

  • Do we need to provide a meal for the DJ during the event? No, meals are not required and discouraged. We are professional DJ's and consider the practice to be unprofessional...but thank you fo offering !!!.

  • What happens prior to the wedding? When do you need our song list? During the initial consultation the order of events is determined, as well as; the basic structure for the event. At that point, the DJ estimates time required for each event and develops a script and timeline for the client to review. After mutual agreement on script and timeline we contact the venue to setup walkthrough and identify a tme for us to come in and setup our equipment before the event starts. we can only gurantee music selection if received by us at least two full weeks before the event. we will do everything in our power to accomodate beyond that limit. .

  • What makes you different from other local disc jockeys? Why should someone hire you? We offer more "bang for your buck"! We do not offer "packages", our service is $99 per hour for service, that includes ALL special effects lighting, sound systems, set-up, tear-down...everything !! The only exception to that rule is custom monograms and video projection systems, that unfortunately does cost extra due to the know unknows of creating and developing the custom applications. We work with you, to make sure you can get the best service that you deserve. When you hire us you are trusting that we know what we are doing, and will do the job right, the way you want it. To start, there must be an initial consultation, whether in person, email, or over the phone. We will commonly have you fill out a form. The form will give us the necessary information, to customize your event to your taste. The consultation is a Q&A session that educates you as well as us on how you want your event to turn out. I like for the client to come over see the equipment, to get a personal performance and begin the paperwork...two reasons for this order: Usually I get the client so pumped up that they cannot wait to sign up !! I guess that is a sales tactic !!! Second, it gets the client in the right frame of mind to come up with ideas on what to do with the capability I can provide. .
